Recently, the famous CyrusHub (a Cydia Alternative or 3rd Party AppStore) launched a brand new designed app with great features. The update was published a few days ago. Looking at the future of this brand we talked with CyrusHub of this new update and the future of CyrusHub.
EmuTime: Welcome CyrusHub once again to EmuTime News! How are you today?
CyrusHub: Doing great! How are you?
EmuTime: Great, happy to have you here today! CyrusHub has a new update to its app, tell me why this new update? What inspired this new update?
CyrusHub: Thanks for having me! Back in May, we announced and launched CyrusHub Refract. It did well, and lots of users liked it. But by the end of the month, we decided that it wasn’t the best we could do. We cut the update, and made CyrusHub offline and unavailable. We got to work on CyrusHub Mist. Mist was completely designed from scratch, infrastructure included. This was a big feat, taking up about 2 months. Some users were impatient, but many were patient, and we thank them for that. This update is faster, more efficient, and cleaner looking. We went through tons of design iterations, as we have one of the best designs you can find. We finally landed with the one we currently have, and it inspired the rest. We pulled a lot of ideas and features from older CyrusHub updates, so you can find them if you’ve been with us for a long time. CyrusHub Mist is the CyrusHub. It is a culmination of our past two years into one app.
EmuTime: Amazing how you collided all this versions of CyrusHub in to one perfect version. Obviously Cyrus has always been defined by its originality. What is unique and special of this new CyrusHub update?
CyrusHub: Yeah, it was definitely a big feat. Like you said, we are defined by our originality. It's been in our app for the past 2 years, starting off with Cyrus Installer. I think the most special and unique things in Mist are CyrusPicks and CyrusThemes (more on that later). CyrusPicks allows our team to choose the best, most popular apps, and show them to the users. This way, they can see what we recommend, which is definitely helpful. CyrusThemes, which is coming soon, is a project we've put off for a long time. We have been trying to put themes into Cyrus for while, and some updates have had it, where other have not. After the CyrusThemes update, it will remain constant. CyrusHub tries to simplify everything for our users, and that's the core of our product. It takes 3 clicks to download an app, maybe even less. Other sites are clunky, filled with ads, and hard to understand. We try to eliminate all these things.
EmuTime: That’s important. Simplicity is always great. Our last interview you had already a huge community. Tell me, how has the community grown in this time?
CyrusHub: That's a great question. To be honest, the past 2 months(before Mist) our community was growing a little bit, with many users sad that CyrusHub was taking longer than expected. But when we gave the launch date last week, things definitely jumped. A lot of users of other apps stop using their app when their questions don't get answered. Because of this, we try to respond as quick as possible with simple solutions. Even if we don't have an answer, we try to point them in the right direction. This is how we keep our community together. We have been having giveaways and CyrusHub betas, all for our amazing community. And I believe that it will only get bigger. In the past few days from the launch, we have had tremendous amounts of support. We strive to be the next app a user download's when looking for third-party apps. Why? Because nobody else does what we do how or like we do it. There was a time where app hubs were a big thing, but if you don't put the effort, time, or thought into it, you won't succeed. We take a lot of user feedback into CyrusHub. We gave a closed beta a while ago, and those beta testers were YouTubers, general users, etc. They gave lots of info and feedback that just influenced CyrusHub. What makes CyrusHub the app it is today is the users and the amazing community. Always has, always will be.
EmuTime: That is a outstanding answer. I am so happy that you guys keep it flowing in the direction of growth.
I know that this update of CyrusHub was released recently. However, what is the future vision or goal of CyrusHub as a brand?
CyrusHub: Thank you! It's people/sites like you guys that allow us to increase our great community's numbers. Once again, a great question. Back in 2017, we had a service called CyrusVIP. It's goal was to give non-revokable apps (like BuildStore) for free. It was definitely possible, but we didn't have the infrastructure to continue past a month. But that was all in the past. I think the vision now has condensed, while becoming more specific. Like I said, CyrusThemes is our next big project, coming in the next major CyrusHub update. We plan to work with all the theme creators we have worked with in the past, more jailbroken theme creators, and users that have their own themes. We have made a infrastructure that makes it super easy to do all of that. But we do have something on top of all that. Since before our original launch in 2017, we have been good friends with @heyeased, or Mysterious Wallpapers. You might know him for the hidden dock, folders, etc. wallpapers. For this service (still, 100% free like everything on Cyrus) we will be collaborating with him more, as well as having the best of his wallpaper collection at hand. We love collaboration with other creators, developers, you name it. This is a big update, so we are working hard to make sure it is the best it can be.
EmuTime: That is an awesome future goal. That means awesome stuff is coming to CyrusHub. Go ahead and invite the people who is reading this to check CyrusHub out.
CyrusHub: Thanks for reading this great interview, thanks to EmuTime! Check us out @CyrusHubApp and https://CyrusHub.app
EmuTime: Thanks Cyrus for been here with us today. Keep up the good work that you guys have been putting.

We leave you with a great video by a friend YouTuber called “AppleTechVideo” of CyrusHub new update!
Hey there folks! We bring you a new Rating and Review with a Interview with a Cydia Alternative.
Called ExtraiOS. ExtraiOS has a new version that we will be Reviewing and Rating. The interview will let you know more the developer of ExtraiOS.
We are gonna do the Review first, then the interview with ExtraiOS and then our review.
ExtraiOS 5.0 was updated a few days ago. When I updated I was surprised to see how beautiful the app looked. The installation process was simple and reliable. The Web App UI Interface is in a iOS 11-12 look. Beautiful shadows. Home page is perfectly made. With changing images, app of the week and everything really App Store feeling. The Apps section is really nice. There an amount of apps available but ExtraiOS still needs more variety of apps. Specially plus apps and tweaked apps.
But still 5.0 Version was launched not much time ago and we know they’ll add more apps. When you select any of the Apps you get a nice description page which is nice.
The app was a Dark Mode which looks beautiful on the UI. Specially on black devices.
We will talk more of ExtraiOS but first let’s see the interview with ExtraiOS with EmuTime News.
INTERVIEW WITH EXTRAIOS:
EmuTime: How did ExtraiOS started?
ExtraiOS: ExtraiOS started as an exploration of the possibilities of apps, tweaks, and themes outside the Apple App Store on non-jailbroken devices. Actually, I started an original site called Andromeda Apps before ExtraiOS but ended that store to start from scratch with ExtraiOS.
EmuTime: What has the inspiration to create ExtraiOS?
ExtraiOS: The inspiration to create ExtraiOS came from all the other great 3rd party app stores and Cydia alternatives in the community. Originally, ExtraiOS was merely a way to learn about the workings of 3rd party apps and tweaks on iOS.
EmuTime: What vision you have for ExtraiOS ?
ExtraiOS: The future vision for ExtraiOS is to bring it to a point where it is independent of other 3rd party app stores and Cydia alternatives. The goal is to create the easiest and most pleasant experience for our users, to make sure it is optimized for the latest iOS firmwares, and to always keep it cost-free. Watch out for ExtraiOS 5.0 soon. It will be a radical change from our past updates and should be exciting!
EmuTime: The name ExtraiOS, where did it came from?
ExtraiOS: The origin of the name ExtraiOS is pretty simple. The service is based on and designed for the iOS operating system but it provides apps, tweaks, and themes that are “extra” or more than what is normally expected or included in the operating system.
EmuTime: How did you ended up knowing of No jailbreak or emulators?
ExtraiOS: I first learned about the non-jailbreak community and all the possibilities of it like most people probably do. I wanted to take more control of my iDevice and be able to customize it in ways that stock iOS would not let me. I stumbled upon one of the more prominent 3rd party app stores and immediately became interested in the possibilities.
EmuTime: Random questions.
Favorite Food? Daily Driver Smartphone? Favorite Movie? What are you afraid of?
ExtraiOS: Favorite food: Pasta
Daily Driver Smartphone: iPhone 7
Favorite Movie: Interstellar
Afraid of: Losing all of ExtraiOS’ files! Haha!
So definitely come check out ExtraiOS 4.0 at http://www.ExtraiOS.weebly.com and install it right on your home screen to get quick access to a lot of great features! Thanks to EmuTime news for the great interview and don’t forget to keep checking them out for all the latest jailbreak/non-jailbreak news and updates!
EmuTime: Thanks for been with us ExtraiOS!
ExtraiOS 5.0 UI is amazing! Beautiful and Simple. Perfect for any iOS device. What ExtraiOS needs to work on? More apps. More variety. That’s all they need to work on.
How is can I get ExtraiOS 5.0 on my device?
Check our great video tutorial by J3DV describing how to make the process.

Hey there! Here we bring a new interesting report.
Cydia Alternatives are the main focus where we all can get emulators, tweaks, plus apps, hacked games and more apps. Ignition is a Cydia Alternative which signes it own apps and it’s working on a VIP version too.
This will be the order we will be going today:
The first thing is the installation process. It’s simple add to home screen safari shortcut and works fine.
Then the UI interface is what you look at. The interface is really different from the others. It’s like a iOS 12 lock screen. You at first see notification explaining how the app works. Because at first it takes time to understand the app. I like the go for an original interface design. It looks nice. In iOS 12 lock screen for those that don’t know the notification group by a specific app. There is a good amount of variety of apps you can get. To install any app just tap a group of the section you like. Search the app you want and then on the app you want swipe right to left on top of it. You’ll see on the Igntition app saying “Preparing”. A pop up will come up asking you to install. You select install and it will start installing on your HomeScreen.
I like Ignition wants to go original but the interface is not so friendly. If we where on iOS 12 by now then it may be a different. But still not everyone will get use to it. But keep going Original.
EmuTime: How did Ignition started?
Ignition: Ignition was actually started several months ago. It never hit it off and was inactive about 3 weeks after being developed solely by @notjosephs. Then about a week before Electra was released @i0sd3v joined the team as a developer and business partner and it hit it off and here we are.
EmuTime: It’s been not so long since it’s fame is rising, how does it feel this fame growing so fast?
Ignition: The fame is awesome. Most of it is probably short lived, a lot of it is directed to us by @coolstarorg , @Pwn20wnd and @nullriver . After electra updates are over a lot of the current people will most likely quit using us, but it’s helping the community and we hope to grow from this.
EmuTime: What is the main goal of Ignition?
Ignition: The main goal of Ignition is to help the iOS community. The biggest 3rd party app stores right now are @TweakBoxApp , @AppValley_vip and @TutuApp_vip and we hope to learn from their mistakes and achievements to be one of the best out there.
EmuTime: How long did it took to create Ignition?
Ignition: The current design was created in about 3 days, but it’s constantly being tweaked. We are creating new things now that will probably take another month to finish.
EmuTime: The name, Ignition. Where did the name come from?
Ignition: Ignition means to start something. We hope to start up the iOS community to be bigger than ever before.
EmuTime: There was an inspiration to create Ignition?
Ignition: Our inspirations were @TweakBoxApp @TutuApp_vip and @AppValley_vip . They have all done incredible things and really are awesome!
EmuTime: Now we go to our “Random Questions” section which we do every time on EmuTime News-
What Smartphone you guys have?
Ignition: I run an iPhone X on 11.3.1 for my daily driver. The other developer uses a 7+ on 11.3.1 also for his daily driver. Both are jailbroken using our signed Electra MP apps.
We are a fairly new 3rd party appstore that has been recommended by @coolstarorg , @nullriver , @Pwn20wnd , @FCE365 and several other popular iOS developers. Everyday we come out with something new and creative things, both for Jailbroken and Non-Jailbroken users. If you would like to support the ever-growing iOS Community and us, please consider paying our website a visit. You won’t be dissatisfied. Also thanks to EmuTime News!!
EmuTime: Thank you Ignition for this great interview. We hope you guys have a great run and get far. Now let’s pass to our rating!
Our Rating is 3 Stars!
Why 3 stars? Ignition is surely one of the best Cydia Alternatives out there. A great 3rd Party App Store.
But the UI needs to be more friendly, maintain an original look but easier to use. Keep working hard Ignition and you’ll get far. And make our rating grow more stars cause in the future we will re-rate the app. You can get Ignition app at https://ignition.fun/ .

Hey there and welcome to a brand new edition of "Rating and Review" by EmuTime News.
Today we do not only bring you a Rating and a Review of iOSEmus but also interviews with the main developer, owner, and creator AiiR and new UI maker DubD3V.
What is iOSEmus?
iOSEmus is one of the most popular Cydia Alternative.
Where you can download any emulator, cydia app, ++ apps, games, and more for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod).
iOSEmus is one of the most famous Cydia alternatives and one of the first Alternatives to exist.
If you wanna know more of iOSEmus keep reading this report!
Now that you know what iOSEmus is, let us begin this new Rating and Reviews Edition with Exclusive Interviews.
iOSEmus was the most important Cydia Alternative over years. Now there are lot of Cydia alternatives.
iOSEmus still today is qualified one of the best out there!
Let's start with the Interviews so we can learn about iOSEmus history and new UI.
First "DubD3V", creator of the latest iOSEmus UI.
EmuTime: Welcome Dub to EmuTime News! Tell us. How did you ended making iOSEmus new UI?
DubD3V: Basically was looking for some web applications that were in need of some new UIs and stumbled on iOSEmus and it's funny because I used @ImAiiR service growing up so I showed him what I could do then it started from there.
EmuTime: That’s really a dream then! AiiR was super important for Emulators and Cydia Apps survival in the beginning and for some years. Tell me about iOSEmus UI, it’s iOS 11 style correct? Why that style?
DubD3V: Yeah it is the reason why I chose that style is because it was the first thing that came to mind hope to better the UI in the future as there is always room for improvement .
EmuTime: Now the new iOSEmus Icon has a change of look, you voted on that too?
DubD3V: Not really, its dope tho.
EmuTime: Yeahhh, looks really nice! So, you said you grown up using iOSEmus. How did it feel to work with AiiR and iOSEmus?
DubD3V: Honestly felt great when he said he liked the UI I developed for him .
EmuTime: Now Random Question Section. Ready?
EmuTime: What Smartphone you carry on your pocket daily and the model?
DubD3V: Brother, an iPhone 7.
EmuTime: Now completely out of topic question. Favorite Movie of all time for you?
DubD3V: The Social Network.
EmuTime: Ohhhh nice! Thanks for being here and answering our questions!
DubD3V: No problem!
EmuTime: Hey there and welcome to brand new interview by your favorite news form “EmuTime News”. There is Cydia Alternative really famous called @iOSEmusTeam . Today we have the owner, developer and App Signer AiiR. Welcome AiiR!
EmuTime: Thank for being here! So first of all. How did the idea of making iOSEmus came to you?
AiiR: Well, I started iOSEmus when I was in high school, and I was bored in my computer class. I was really into non-Jailbroken apps for iDevices, so I went to look for how I could start my own website, for me and my friends, so we could get our favorite apps, all in one place. This was when the date-trick was very well known, and wasn’t patched. The site started through weebly, a free site maker, but from then to now, a lot of changes has happened, to get what I host now.
EmuTime: Wow, so you didn’t know coding when you started?
EmuTime: Cool. I imagine at first took some work. So why the name iOSEmus and why the Red Color?
AiiR: The name is simple. iOSEmus split up, "iOS Emus" is just iOS, the operating system software for iPhones, and Emus, short for Emulators. For the color red, no real reason why. I just like the color red :)
EmuTime: That’s awesome! So tell me when did iOSEmus had its boom as famous.
AiiR: Well, I would say the first time it got popular, was when I was first hosting signed emulators, like nda4ios, and GBA4iOS. At that time, I was really stressed out with school, and nearly stopped working on the app. I'm glad I didn't stop working on it though. The one time that made iOSEmus very popular, was when Pokemon GO was first released. A ton of people were coming to iOSEmus to get a hacked version of the game. A few times this caused my site to go down, which wasn't shocking, considering the traffic load on the small server I had at the time.
EmuTime: Yes iOSEmus has huge boom of fame. How did you feel because iOSEmus got so famous?
AiiR: I was very happy to see traffic going up. "Wow, people are actually using this thing I made one day when I was bored", is pretty much the thoughts I had when I seen that. But at the same time, it made me feel stressed. At the same time the app was getting popular, I was in senior year of high school, where I had to really focus. This lead to some times where an app needed an update, but I had no time, or physical energy to do it. I was fine though, whenever I had spare time, I'd push out updates, and I'd let people know.
EmuTime: Yes it was hard ! So any future goal for iOSEmus ?
AiiR: Right now, I don't really have anything in mind. I've done all of the things I've wanted to see done with iOSEmus, so I guess right now, my goal is to keep it running for as long as anyone is using it. I've always tried my best to make sure the app is user-friendly, and I don't want anything getting in the way of that.
EmuTime: Yes, iOSEmus is easy to use and I like that. How many people use iOSEmus today??
AiiR: When it comes to daily users nowadays, it's not many. Depending on what's happened with certificates, daily visits range from 100-5000. It all depends on what people need from the app. I'm fine with not much traffic though, as long as people are happy with the apps they've been able download, I'm happy.
EmuTime: Now we go to our random question section! Ready?
AiiR: As ready as can be lol.
EmuTime: What Smartphone you have on your pocket? Also model and color.
AiiR:None in my pocket, but the device I use is an iPhone 6, though soon I should be upgrading. Not sure to what though. Regular black / grey. I didn't have a choice.
EmuTime: Yeah that happened to me too Lol. That was the only color available and that was what kept. Now really random question completely out of topic. What’s your favorite food?
AiiR: Am I allowed only 1 choice? or can I list off like, 3?
EmuTime: You can say all the food you want to mention haha!
AiiR: 1. Pizza. 2. Chicken Nuggets / Tenders. 3. Baked Spaghetti. Can't go wrong with any of these.
EmuTime: Haha, great choices. Now last question. What do you personally think it’s the best Emulator for iOS?
AiiR: I really enjoy RetroArch. While it may not be the best in a UI or easy-to-use standpoint, it works really well, especially when it comes to having multiple emulator cores, for different consoles.
EmuTime: Yes, completely understand. I think the most variety of consoles are in RetroArch. Well AiiR thank you for being here with us. It’s been a pleasure. Please if you wanna say any message to those who are reading us and also invite them to use iOSEmus.
AiiR: It's been a nice interview, thanks for having me. To those reading this, thanks for reading the interview, first of. And if anyone is looking for a one stop place for popular Apps and Games that aren't on the App Store, be sure to check out iOSEmus!
EmuTime: Thanks once again AiiR! Make sure to follow him on Twitter as @ImAiiR !
- REVIEW OF iOSEMUS -
iOSEmus first need to be installed.
The website is simple UI and easy to install. Anyone can understand how to install it with no help.
The installation was easy and fast with the "Profile" or "MobileConfig" File on settings.
Once you have it on your homescreen, both icons you can install look beautiful.
I'd say one of the best icons of cydia alternatives. Once entering the App you will see this new iOS 11 style UI.
First of all I think that on the home page of iOSEmus the icon logo should be bigger. It's to small.
Then you'll see most popular section with some apps which I think if should show more Apps there.
Then the Apps tab. Simple UI and great variety of apps but most importantly are signed. Love the check mark and x to say if its signed or not (signed is when a app is working for installation). Once you wanna install any app by tapping the app you want, it will take you to Safari. Once on the installation page of the app you'd like, You have the icon with the name of the app. The "Get" button really similar to the App Store one and looks really nice. Below that you will see a great description of the app you are about to download. Gotta say I like the descriptions, they are very professional.
Going back to the App there is the "Changes tab". There is not much to say about this one. There is only a small text saying whats new. I think this specific tab need some work. It's too simple.
Then is the Info tab. Where you can learn what they used to create the app, Web App version, learn of the developers and who signed the apps so you can enjoyed them.
iOSEmus is really well made. Overall I think there are small details to work on the UI but everything else is perfect!
Love the Red and white colors maintaining the company style. It is iOS 11 style but still original for iOSEmus.
They have lot of apps signed and working. Simply great.
Now EmuTime Rating is...
Our Rating of iOSEmus is 3.5 Stars. "It's all about Signed Apps".
We qualify iOSEmus as one of the best Cydia Alterntives.
How can I install iOSEmus?
Easy! Go to the website - iosem.us .
Then click one of the 2 icons you like the most.
A pop-up will come up, select allow.
Then it will take you to settings.
Select Install on the top right corner.
And then done on the top right!
That's it! Go to your homescreen and you will see it there.
Thanks to AiiR and DubD3V for the interviews.
Thanks to all who are reading this report.
Hope you all enjoyed.
Make sure to follow EmuTime News o Twitter as @emutimestore .
See you all on our next report.

Known as iGBA. Here is one of the developers “1GamerD3V”!
EmuTime: Thanks for being here with us today! First of all how did you ended as one of the developers of “Eclipse”?
1Gamer: I reported some vulnerabilities in iGBA, I eventually became one of the developers and a few days later I became one of the developers of Eclipse.
EmuTime: Wow, that is a different way to enter when you listen to other developers stories your is fully original. So what did you mainly work on Eclipse by that I mean you code.
1Gamer: I fixed some bugs & vulnerabilities, added the export and load progress feature, added custom keyboard control mapping, the update system etc...
EmuTime: Great, there some really important factors there!
Eclipse yet has not been fully revealed.
But you don’t have to spoiler anything but, are there new features that where not in iGBA?
1Gamer: Yup. That's all I'm going to say on that topic.
EmuTime: That makes me burn the hype up! We really want to test it out and make an official Review and Rating of Eclipse.
Eclipse main colors are Red, Black and White?
1Gamer: I guess you could say that.
EmuTime: But it was Theme system as iGBA correct?
1Gamer: If you're asking if iGBA skins are supported, yes. @HeyItsShuga worked on the skin system.
EmuTime: Yes, correct.
So you said you worked on the Update System, there will be lot of updates on “Eclipse”?
1Gamer: Probably, can't really predict the future though.

EmuTime: Here is our second interview of today of the developers Eclipse and it’s “HeyItsShuga”!
EmuTime: Thanks for been with us today! First of all. How did you get to be on the Eclipse/iGBA proyect?
HeyItsShuga: I was doing some work on iGBA, and, already working on iGBA, was invited to work on Eclipse.
EmuTime: Great, so you coded on iGBA and Eclipse?
HeyItsShuga: Correct. On iGBA I focused mostly on the skin engine (and a few other things), but on Eclipse I did a lot more.
EmuTime: Awesome so you designed the skin system of iGBA?
HeyItsShuga: There were two skin systems used in iGBA: the old system (only applied in the emulator view) and OpenSkin: the current system that allows for nearly all of iGBA and Eclipse to be themed. I worked on the second system.
EmuTime: Yes, I think it’s cool that you can customize the most the Emulator to your personal style.
You said you worked on other things in Eclipse.
May you say some of those other stuff you worked on?
HeyItsShuga: I worked on various things in the settings pane, a revised skin system, social features (like links to share ROMs, skins, and repos), a few minor things (like swipe-to-delete and bug fixes), and a few things that I cannot disclose but are pretty cool.
EmuTime: What do expect from Eclipse?
From that I mean your goals.
HeyItsShuga: The main goal of Eclipse is to provide a simple and easy emulator experience that can be used on most platforms.
EmuTime: I couldn’t say it better! We have a section on each interview and it’s that we make random questions.
HeyItsShuga: I guess so.
EmuTime: Favorite color?
HeyItsShuga: Blue. It's also my favorite Eclipse theme.
EmuTime: Cool! Blue it is!
You prefer iOS or Android?
HeyItsShuga: My daily driver is an iPhone 7, but I also do like Android.
EmuTime: Shuga thanks for being here, for taking of your time for this interview!
Make your to follow @HeyItsShuga on twitter!
(These are the actual answers)
EmuTime: How did you ended up as a Developer on “Eclipse”?
EmuTime: What did you code on Eclipse?
EmuTime: Does Eclipse have New features?
EmuTime: What is your main personal goal with Eclipse?
S0N1C: OWO Revolution!
EmuTime: (Random Question) What do you use iOS and Android? What Smartphone model?
S0N1C: I got an iPod 6 on iOS 11.1.2 .
EmuTime: Now our 4th interview is the main developer “Daniel”!
EmuTime: Thanks for being here with us! I gotta say just from the start that Daniel is a developer with lot of personality.
First of all you created iGBA, how where you inspired to make “Eclipse”?
Daniel: I was bored.
EmuTime: Haha, you always simple and straight!
Why the name “Eclipse”?
You named it right?
Daniel: Because it's unique.
EmuTime: Haha, you know the day you launched the trailer it was “Blue Moon” day?
EmuTime: Eclipse was new features correct?
EmuTime: Well can you say something of the new features coming on Eclipse?
Daniel: it now supports nes, gbc, gb, gba
So, will the skin system have different skins for every Emulator or the same?
Daniel: The same for all.
EmuTime: What is you personal goal with “Eclipse”?
Daniel: To help out people who can't afford developer accounts and sign their own apps.
EmuTime: You know, those are inspiring words.
What Smartphone you always carry with?
Daniel: iPhone 7.
EmuTime: Thanks Daniel!
Now last interview next!
EmuTime: How did you ended up as a Developer on “Eclipse”?
Magnetar: I got on the iGBA team because I was the one to make the initial controller code (with touch-hold support). Though, I was the first to really suggest the concept of an all-in-one web emulator to the team (back when it was just me, Dan, and Warsame).
EmuTime: What did you code on Eclipse?
Magnetar: I coded a lot. Most of the UI can be attributed to me, I did the repo system, got the emulators to load games via URL, etc.
EmuTime: Does Eclipse have New features?
Magnetar: I’m sure the others have answered this pretty well, so I won’t go too in-depth, but yes. One feature the others might have not said is the addition of proper aspect ratio. You can toggle between the console’s native aspect ratio (i.e. GBA is 3:2), or have the screen be filled with the game.
EmuTime: What is your main personal goal with Eclipse?
Magnetar: To replay/finish some of the supported games. I still have to beat both of the Oracle games, which I expect to do now thanks to Eclipse.
EmuTime: (Random Question) What do you use iOS and Android? What Smartphone model?
Magnetar: I primarily use iOS, though I play around with Android when I feel like it. My daily driver, as of now, is the iPhone SE, because of the price.
EmuTime: Thanks Magnetar and all who participated on this interview.
ECLIPSE - What we know so far.
Yet not much of Eclipse has been revealed. In our interview we learned some stuff of Eclipse.
We have learned some information that you will learn here.
- EVERYTHING OF ECLIPSE
Eclipse firstly has a White background with a Red NES controller icon.
The icon design is simple and elegant. The Eclipse UI simple colors are red, white, and black as most of the developers look to concord with. However Eclipse has a "Full Skin System" created by "HeyItsShuga". This "Full Skin System" changes the colors of everything to your preference. If you know code you can use your own color or use a lot of pre-created "Full Skins". From blue to green, from green to yellow, how ever you like it the most.
HeyItsShuga said: "Android and Desktop users will get a Material Design-inspired UI in Eclipse Emu. In addition, you can change how Eclipse looks with various featured and community-made skins. The best part? Skins are mostly backwards-compatible between Eclipse and iGBA. If you made an iGBA skin that relies on no custom CSS, it already is supported. If you do have custom CSS, it's trivial to add support". -
Yes, full UI changes to your preference. Also "HeyItsShuga" also said; "Android and Desktop"... -
That means Eclipse emulator will be compatible with iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod), Android (Samsung, Google, LG, exc), and Desktop (iMac, Macbooks, PC, Windows, exc).
1GamerD3V said: "Added a feature to Eclipse that'll let you transfer your data from iGBA." -
That means as iGBA, Eclipse will have Save State/Load State. That means no losing any game.
We also know as iGBA, Eclipse will be working with a Repo System by Magnetar. Repos with all type of games.
Games from any of the following consoles: NES (Original Nintendo), GB (Gameboy), GBC (Gameboy Color), and GBC (Gameboy Advance). Those are a lot of consoles. When you select a game in Eclipse Emu, on top of the controller skin you will see a black bar where it says what console you are playing. For example your playing Pokemon Crystal then it will say GBC.
In Eclipse Emu when you select a game it no longer directly enter the game as it did in iGBA. Now you select the game and a floating bar will come up with 3 options: Delete (with trash icon), Play (with play icon), and Edit (with edit icon).
Also games appear with there Box arts in the main home menu. Once playing a game you'll have A, B, Select, Start, L, R and Menu button. When you select menu a floating menu pops up with the following options: Toggle Audio (with audio icon), Rotate option if I'm not incorrect, Pause (with pause icon, a controller button and a exit button.
Obviously Eclipse has "skin controllers" where you can change the controller interface too.
Also now Eclipse has "Proper Ratio", that means the screen of the game adapts to your device.
Now let's see some images of the Eclipse Emulator.
That is everything we know so far of Eclipse Emulator. If you read this report article you probably know everything there needs to know. Hello and welcome to our daily readers to your favorite news source. Today we bring you a No-Jailbreak Cydia Alternative which is currently developing a VIP version. Now please welcome the Cyrus Developer.
EmuTime: Welcome Cyrus! How are you today?
Cyrus: Good! How are you?
EmuTime: We are great and really thankful for you been here! Tell us. Why did you created Cyrus? What inspired you to create it.
Cyrus: No problem! We created Cyrus because we felt all other services took a long time to reach the end point, which is installation. What inspired us was just the design and simplicity of iOS itself and what we could bring to this community.
EmuTime: Wow, created for the community! How you as yourself learned about this no jailbreak world? About the apps as GBA4iOS, Movie Box and others.
Cyrus: Via YouTube.
EmuTime: Yeah I my self learned about emulators with the famous and only Operationidroid when he showed a preview of GBA4iOS 1.0 . So the logo has the arrow down and multi color inside. Why that logo for the Cyrus Company?
Cyrus: Aw, nice! Well, we want it to be a symbol that stands for something we think represents us.The arrow represents the downloading, how it’s just an arrow, nothing else. The colors are a spin off on our old icons, with their five colors, which is also in our title.
EmuTime: Yes, I remember the original one and got to say this new logo it’s awesome and as I said before Cyrus is beautiful in UI. Cyrus had a sudden boom of fame and YouTubers started making videos. How did you feel when this happened?
Cyrus: Well, first, overwhelmed. So many things happening at once. But then, we were excited to have a good user base!
EmuTime: Right! How many users does Cyrus currently have?
Cyrus: On Twitter, over 12K. A few months ago, we were getting at least 1,000,000 views a day on the App.
EmuTime: Impressive! When did Cyrus started? Cause that’s a lot of users and I wanna know how much time it took you to get all those users.
Cyrus: July 7th 2017, I remember because that was the day @RedmondPie wrote an amazing review on us.
EmuTime: Yes big day for your fame! Wow, growing so fast! I really got to Congrats you! Now a last few questions. Is the VIP version gonna be the same Web App of Cyrus or on a Native App itself?
Cyrus: Native is our dream, but till then web based.
EmuTime: Lot of luck with that and any of both we know it will be more beautiful than your current version. Will the UI be similar or different?
Cyrus: In the next updates, it will be something revolutionary.
EmuTime: Revolutionary, can't wait to see that. Any future vision or goals for Cyrus and a good bye message for all those who are reading, also invite them to join Cyrus Installer.
Cyrus: Well, to one, get pretty well known in this community is a goal. Thanks for reading! We hope to see you at @CyrusInstaller and https://cyrusinstaller.com .
EmuTime: This has been EmuTime News reporting you the truth and only the truth. Thanks Cyrus for this interview and see you all soon on our next reports! Make sure to follow us on Twitter as @emutimestore for news!
